BS G177 Aircraft Cables

Application: Suitable for use in circuits in which the voltage between conductors, between a metal braid surrounding it and between a conductor and the aircraft structure nowhere exceeds 600V (r.m.s.) and where the frequency does not exceed 1600 c/s. Good moisture and abrasion resistance. Good resistance to fuels, oils and alkalis. -75°C to +105°C. Flexible down to -30°C.

Conductor: Tinned annealed flexible copper

Insulation: Heat resistant PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) & GFB (Glass fibre braid)

Core identification: White

Sheath/Jacket: Nylon (Sizes 22-12), Nylon braid & lacquered (Sizes 10-0000)

Colour: White

Operating temperature: Maximum 105°C, Minimum bending -30°C

Voltage: 600 Volts (RMS) @ maximum 1600 Htz
