Cables Glands

Gland Design: Addison Cable Glands are designed & tested according to BS 6121 : 1989 and EN 50014 : 1992 adding new criteria necessary to meet particular need.

Materials: Made in standard Brass (BS 2874) or in alternative materials like aluminium (BS 1474) and Stainless Steel (A2/A4).

Finishes: Generally supplied in natural Brass finish. Other finishes like Electro-Tin , Nickel and Cadmium can be provided subjected to customers' requested.

Entry Threads: Generally supplied with ISO Metric Thread to BS 3643 part 2 ISO 68 / 965 series. A Constant pitch of 1.5 mm is used up to and including 75 mm thread size. Alternative entry threads like PG / NPT / ET etc. can be provided subjected to customers' requested.

Earthing: A range of integral earth gland can be provided, where earth short circuit protective equipment demand positive earth connection. Electrical continuity is achieved through the screwed entry into metal boxes.
